June always makes one feel grievous!
Huang Yongyu has finished pictures for June and I think
Night in June is the best one. With deepening shades of
dusk and blood-like dewdrops, the lotus appear extremely
delicate, evoking a feeling of profound respect. A work
with such a negative emotion would not be hung in the
living room of the rich. But we might conclude as well
that this work of art would be worth a lot after the passing
of years.
The composition of this picture is quite bold. Theorists
without creative any idea are likely to see it as not
coherent with the Golden law. But the arrangement of space
is just marvelous, reaching the acme of perfection.
The Classic of Daoism says, "Walk to the end of nothingness
and grasp the quietest moment. The world is in constant
motion and I place them where they should return".
Just imaging: sitting in an empty dark room, quietly,
a man with strong feelings is looking at the picture against
the dark gray wall for several hours and then begins to
understand the truth of the words.
Principle is nothing to do with art creation.,but philosophy
and truth would be helpful both for the artist and the
viewer.
