A Journey into Chinese Buddhism presents a panoramic picture of well-known temples, grottoes and statues, sculptures and paintings and relics. Refined language and excellent illustrations in the book are complementary to each other, showing a picture of the grandeur and grace of Chinese Buddhism. The magnificence of the world of Buddhism is also shown through a combination of the past and the present.

In the book, China is divided into ten regions and every region has a separate volume. More than 2,400 coloured pictures, together with the maps of the locations of and routes to the famous temples, statues, paintings and relics are collected in the book and are incorporated with the language.
